SPRINGTIME ACTIVITIES
BIRD WATCHING is great in Alma, Wisconsin.   Throughout the month of May, Alma celebrates bird & waterfowl migration along the Mississippi Flyway by "Going To The Birds".  The Great River Birding Festival is May 12th and supports World Migratory Bird Day.  Wings Over Alma Nature & Art Center offers a great outdoor or indoor viewing opportunity of migration activity on the Mississippi River below Lock & Dam #4.
FISHING FROM THE FLOAT, A DOCK OR A BOAT  So much water, so many opportunities to satisfy the angler's need to fish. 

Many Mississippi River backwater spots are available as well as the Great Alma Fishing Float.  You will need a Wisconsin fishing license.  If you are on the Fishing Float a Minnesota fishing license is valid. Open March through October 31st!
HIKING A TRAIL  Mossy Hollow Trail or Buena Vista Trail are great City trails and offer great views and lots of bird watching.  You won't be disappointed.  Look for warblers when you hike Mossy Hollow.
